Cut Craft III Accreditation

IC Accreditations
Offered annually to provide Independent Contractors an opportunity to be accredited to teach additional seminars in the field such as Cut Craft series (line/fringe, Layer & Graduation) Curl Craft (I-III & Barber). These are exclusive to our Educator Team and will be in a train the trainer format with teach backs. Each offering has a set price with no additional discounts applicable and will include Studio Swag. This will also count towards your Certification Journey.
*Accreditation- training that will accredit our IC team to teach additional seminars (such as Curl Craft I-III and Cut Craft Layer), allowing for more bookings in the field. Participation of this does not guarantee accreditation, trainers of these offerings will either grant accreditation upon completion or provide direction on next steps.

Cut Craft Accreditation
  • To teach Cutting in the field (seminars listed below) you are required to take Cut Craft I-II
    • This is listed as one offering
    • This does not grant you a Cut Craft Specialist Certificate unless Cut Craft III is complete, you can complete all three in the offering to grant your Specialist Certificate and Accreditation to teach the below seminars
  • Those that were previously Cut Craft Certified (previous 4 day seminar), only need Cut Craft III for your own Cut Craft Specialist Certification
    • Cut Craft III completion will allow for teaching of Sebastian Cutting seminars in the field
  • Insider Tier is required prior to attending to grant certification of Cut Craft

  • Cut Craft Line & Fringe
    • DESCRIPTION: Stylists are most satisfied when a client leaves the salon with the perfect look. In order to achieve that, a great haircut is crucial for bringing style and color to life. In this seminar, you’ll discover how fringes can frame the face to enhance your client’s favorite features. You’ll also learn how to cut a perfectly precise line that will direct the eye and give the hair a strong and healthy look.
  • Cut Craft Graduation
    • DESCRIPTION: Stylists are most satisfied when a client leaves the salon with the perfect look. In order to achieve that, a great haircut is crucial for bringing style and color to life. In this seminar, you’ll discover how to build weight in a haircut with techniques like elevation and over direction. Learn how to enhance the appearance of volume and body with hair color and refine the look with styling.
  • Cut Craft Layer
    • DESCRIPTION: Stylists are most satisfied when a client leaves the salon with the perfect look. In order to achieve that, a great haircut is crucial for bringing style and color to life. In this seminar, you’ll discover layering techniques to remove weight and create movement in your haircuts. You’ll also learn how to enhance the texture of a cut with the Blondor family and show off the cut with styling.
Cut Craft III Description:
Rounding out the Cut Craft series, Cut Craft III pushes our cutting methodology to the next level with the incorporation of our Free Form Cutting Techniques. Loaded with the fundamentals and techniques learned in Cut Craft I and Cut Craft II, you’re well on your way to earning the prestigious Cut Expert Certification.

Here’s what you’ll learn in this two-day seminar:

• How to build on knowledge from previous classes with various texturizing techniques using the razor, scissors, and texturizing scissors

• How to determine which texturizing techniques are best suited for wet or dry hair for finishing or creating a completely new design

• The opportunity to create various cuts using these techniques and gain the confidence to give your client any cut they desire

• How to assess client’s cut suitability through analyzing model’s face shape, hair fabric and lifestyle

Cut Craft III is the prerequisite for our prestigious Expert certification. Cut Craft II is the required prerequisite for this class.
