IC Accreditations
Offered annually to provide Independent Contractors an opportunity to be accredited to teach additional seminars in the field such as Cut Craft series (line/fringe, Layer & Graduation) Curl Craft (I-III & Barber). These are exclusive to our Educator Team and will be in a train the trainer format with teach backs. Each offering has a set price with no additional discounts applicable and will include Studio Swag. This will also count towards your Certification Journey.
*Accreditation- training that will accredit our IC team to teach additional seminars (such as Curl Craft I-III and Cut Craft Layer), allowing for more bookings in the field. Participation of this does not guarantee accreditation, trainers of these offerings will either grant accreditation upon completion or provide direction on next steps.

Curl Craft Accreditation
- Curl Craft I-III to be able to teach Curl Craft I-III in the field
- This is set as one offering, all must be completed for accreditation
- This will qualify you as Curl Craft Specialist Certified
- Curl Craft Barber is optional for barbers, this will allow for delivery of Curl Craft Barber in the field
- Insider Tier is required prior to attending to grant certification of Curl Craft
Curl Craft I Description:
Proper treatment of curly hair is a must, and in our Curl Basics seminar, you will review curl basics such as hair structure, curl types, and proper terminology. You will exercise proper hair cleansing, treat and learn ideal at-home techniques you can share with your clients to help with maintaining in-between services.
Curl Craft II Description:
In this seminar, you will participate in coloring, cutting, and styling curly hair. We will cover how to achieve proper lifting and coloring techniques for curly hair and discuss the differences between Moisture vs. Protein and why it makes a difference in accepting color. In cutting, you will learn the different types of cutting techniques and complete your curly-haired client’s salon experience with styles that will keep them coming back with confidence!
Curl Craft III Description:
Protective Styles are an important part of care for curl hair. The Protective Styles Seminar will cover basic concepts such as consultation, types of protective styles, and proper terminology. You will learn how to execute proper two-strand twists, flat twists, on-scalp braids, and knotless braids.
By the end of the program the participants will:
- Understand protective styles, terminology and uses
- Be able to perform a consultation understanding curl specific concerns
- Be able to create two-strand twists, flat twists, and on-scalp braids, and knotless braids
